17th Annual Christmas Boutique

“May the joy that you give to others be the joy that comes back to you.”

Thank you for shopping at the 17th Annual Christmas Boutique. I hope all the gifts that you bought brought smiles to the faces of those who received them. I know that many will receive clean water. $5,512 was raised at the Boutique. I also want to thank all the vendors that made the event so enjoyable. Kate and her baking team gave to BTG4WATER and also raised funds for the Titus Center in Uganda. They are hoping to build a training center for youth that live on the streets. We all enjoyed all the warm baked goods. Thank you for making a difference for good.

2023 Appreciation Dinner

BTG’s Annual Appreciation dinner took place on September 13, 2023. Anyone who has ever helped BridgingtheGap4Water or who is interested in what BTG does was invited to this time of fellowship and gratitude. Excellent food was provided by Lora Adams and her team, and guests enjoyed a presentation about our recent work in Uganda. BTG was presented with generous donations from businesses and individuals.

Clockwise from Top Left:

Joy Book, a distributer for Norwex, wrote a letter to the company about BTG4WATER and this was the result. This money will provide a whole village with a safe water project.

Dori Franklin, Heart to Home Real Estate, gives the buyer of a sold home the choice between two non-profits to make a contribution from the sale. One of the choices is BTG4Water. Thank you Dori.

Anthony Chopra, 14 Years, needed to do a community project before receiving his black belt at Azad's Martial Arts Center. He chose BTG4WATER and raised $1,060. Thank you Andrew and family.

15th Annual Walk4Water

It was a perfect day in Bidwell Park. Walkers were able to learn about the need for clean water globally and water conservation locally. There were educational stations covering everything from daily life in Africa to learning how to make African pottery. Drummers filled the air with energizing African beats. 118 Volunteers put this Walk4Water together. I thank each of the volunteers, walkers, and donors for making a difference for good. We couldn’t have had better weather. We raised $34,000 plus a match, for a total of $84,000. It was the largest match we have ever received.
