14th Annual Christmas boutique
$12,000 dollars was sent to develop a Healthy Community and provide clean water in th Ndaiga Village in the Mayuge District located in Uganda, Africa. We were able to send this gift because of the many shoppers that made a decision to shop at BTG Market and provide clean water at the same time. Children’s dreams of being able to go to school will be answered, because they won’t need to be carrying dirty water that makes them sick. You have made a difference for good!
2022 Walk4Water Results
My heart is overflowing with appreciation for all that transpired at the 14th Annual Walk4Water I am forever grateful that I was able to be at the Walk4Water for 15 minutes to do the opener. God gave me the desire of my heart. To walk away from it all was hard, but I enjoyed hearing the stories of the day and looking at the photos that brought smiles to my face. Check out more W4W photos here on the BTG websiteunder W4W Photos.

Back From Uganda
The trip to Africa was amazing! It had been three years since I had been there. Grant and I had always gone at least once a year, but with covid we had not been able to go. It was good to see all that was maintained and developed as I visited villages in the Serere District. The villagers were so proud of their work and so happy to see me and my friend Debi Wineroth. They greeted us with song and dance and served us African lunches. One of the highest gifts to a guest is a live chicken or a turkey…..we received both. Holding a large turkey is not something I am used to, which brought much laughter to the group. Sarah, a director of Serere District, took the the turkey and chicken and made us a delicious meal that we enjoyed the next day after spending time in the village.
