Jesse Sherba
Jesse Sherba has been coming up with creative ideas for BTG for the past 12 years. This year he is teaching a class called Money Smarts at Core Butte. The students of the class are partnering with Cal Java to sell 10-pound bags of coffee in November thru January to raise funds for TivaWater Filters.
Liz Sperber
Elizabeth Sperber has been volunteering for the past seven years at BTG. Her passion for BTG continues to grow. She plays a major role in BTG Market, including accompanying me to gift shows, assisting me with ordering, and stocking Cal Java with BTG’S merchandise every Tuesday. Throughout the year she shares BTG’S mission, which inspires corporate sponsors and private donors to give.
Days For Girls
A group of women in Chico sewed & assembled 30 kits for young women that can be used during menstruation. The kits will allow girls to attend school during that time.
csuc First Year Experience Students
First Year Experience students from CSUC have been volunteering for the past 6 years. Gina Tigri and a senior student are working on an Educational Station for the upcoming Walk4Water.
Liz sperber
Liz Sperber has been volunteering for eight years. She has volunteered in many areas. At present, she does the merchandising at Cal Java, attends the gift shows with me, and makes decisions concerning the W4W T-shirts.
