people making a difference
2017
Jan Mirts
Jan Mirts has been volunteering for almost 10 years. She has volunteered in every Annual Walk4Water. The last two years she has helped with Farmers Markets and displays BTG Market’s merchandise at Beatniks on a weekly basis.
Christmas Boutique Vendors
At this time, 8 vendors are preparing for the 11th Annual Christmas Boutique: Kimberly Compton Aimes, Charissa Anderson, Katie Drake, Anna Malony, Elizabeth McConnel, Lauren Mesa, & Deb Watkins.
Wendy Thompson
Wendy Thompson has been volunteering for BTG for 10 years. She started at the 1st W4W by organizing a youth group to participate and has never stopped. Her main gift is her ability to be willing to try anything and she ends up doing it well. She is slowly un-cluttering my life and so much more. Thank you, Wendy!
Lisa and mia james
Bridging The Gap appreciates the help of the National Charity League by volunteering at our events. Lisa and Mia James, one of the mother/daughter teams, helped with the food service at our Appreciation Dinner.
Peter LeDuc
Peter LeDuc will be barbecuing pulled pork for our 11th Annual BTG Appreciation Dinner. I have tasted his pulled pork and know you won’t be disappointed!
Andrew Slankard
Andrew Slankard used his talents to do a five minute video for the Ninth Annual Walk4Water (W4W). He just graduated from CSU this spring and is now looking for full time employment.
national charity league
A new group to the W4W was the National Charity League. Their mission is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences. This year they were in charge of the refreshments and they plan to be back next year. We appreciated their desire to help.
orchard church
I just finished building a house in Mexico with a team from Orchard Church. Let me tell you, they are hard workers. They are planning to get up early to set up for the Walk4Water on March 25th. This will be the second year that they will be participating and we so appreciate their help.
