2012

2012 year-end report

Because of you and matched funds, BTG has given $521,000  in nearly 7 years. This money has given safe water, sanitation and training in hygiene to 14,885 people for life in developing countries. Water is the foundation of every village, then comes the growing of crops, health, education, and micro-enterprises. People begin to thrive instead of just surviving.

Tanzania Orphanage: $3,000

World Vision: $96,000, includes dollar-for-dollar matched funds from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation

World Vision: $36,000, includes 3 times matched funds from private donors

Gratitude is one of my favorite words, and I want you to know that my heart is overflowing with gratitude because of your generosity. By your giving during the Annie B'S Drive, BTG raised $17,154, and that will give 490 Africans water for life. You have lightened the burden of many Africans. I will keep you posted on the upcoming projects.

The Annual Appreciation dinner was an opportunity to thank the many BTG volunteers. They were treated to a taco bar catered by Lora Adams, while the children enjoyed a pinata, playtime in the pool and homemade popsicles! In six and a half years the volunteers of BTG have helped to raise $493,839 and have given 14,100 Africans water for life!

Bridging the Gap was privileged to once again share about our thirsty world. Every day the children at Evangelical Free’s Vacation Bible School went home and did chores around the home to earn money which they donated for clean water. The children raised $1,249. The children were very creative raising money...one little girl gave her papa a pedicure!
