Success: 1st annual christmas boutique, december 15th, 2006
The 1st Annual Christmas Boutique was a huge success. Bridging The Gap raised $1,050. We now have $10,500 for our year end goal of $12,000. Shoppers were happy to shop for gifts that will keep on giving for a lifetime...the gift of fresh, clean water.
3 new boreholes, December 1st, 2006
Good news was received that our three boreholes were completed for the Uganda Orphans! The workers at the Kumuli Orphanage are thrilled to receive this gift of clean water. The hours of time the workers spent hauling water will now be invested in developing the orphanages.

Pumping Water from the first boreholes given by Bridging The Gap was indescribable. I was overwhelmed by thanksgiving for the team of givers that generously donated.
summer projects, july 1st, 2006
$10,000 has been given to Pump Aid, www.pumpaid.org, for twenty “elephant pumps” (pictured left) in Malawi.
$4,000 has been given to Uganda Orphans fund, www.ugandaorphans.com, for four water systems for four orphanages that are being built this summer.
BTG’s logo has been designed by Bobby Menente, a graphic design student of Professor Greg Berryman of CSUC.

Shirley Adams has been able to speak at the Soroptimist International of Chico Women’s Club, The Edge, and the Rotary Club.
